A player may not purchase a square if doing so would cause the total number of squares he owns to be greater than his current level. (Basically this means you cannot have more squares than your current level as a result of purchasing a square, but if for some reason your level decreases or you obtain a square in some other way than buying it, you won't lose any of your current squares).
Upon purchasing a square, the player must submit a name for the square. The Admin has the right to reject any square name that in his opinion is inappropriate, too long, or too close to the name of another square.
A player may at any time voluntarily give up ownership of any square he owns, thereby causing the square to once again become unowned. (No refund will be given, however).
When a player lands on a square
owned by another player, the following things will happen:
- The player who landed on the square must pay the owner of the square
"rent", which is equal to 5 * (the square number) Disinterested
Dollars.
- The owner of the square receives 3 Experience Points.
- Determine his or her initial Attack and Defense value
- add to that digit a number of points equal to [2 * 10 / 5]
- and finally add to that sum a number of points equal to [3 * 10 /
5]
Attack and Defense values will be determined for any new players as soon as they join the game.
A new ability called Fight will be introduced. Each turn, every player will have the option to Fight any other player he or she chooses. If Player A initiates a fight with Player B, the two players' Attack and Defense values will be compared; if Player A's Attack is greater than Player B's Defense, Player A will deal an amount of "damage" to Player B equal to one six-sided die roll. This number will be subtracted from Player B's Hit Points. If Player A's Attack is less than or equal to Player B's Defense, it must be determined if Player A's hit has landed; Each player will roll one six-sided die, and if the number Player A has rolled is greater than the number Player B has rolled, Player B will be dealt an amount of "damage" equal to one six-sided die roll, which will be subtracted from his or her Hit Points. If the number Player A rolled is less than or equal to the number Player B rolled, Player B will take no damage. After a Fight, each player will gain a number of Experience Points equal to [the opposing player's level * 10 / 2]. If in the course of a Fight a player's Hit Points are reduced to zero, the fFght will end immediately, and the player with zero hit points will receive no experience.
